ELODIE ROJAS
HEAD OF FAMILY RELATIONS

“Values shall be lived more than they are told, and it couldn’t be truer here.”

What does the title “Head of Family Relations” mean in practice at ViaTalenta?
I have two main responsibilities : first to represent the family externally, attending public and private events like social gatherings or specialized conferences; and second to assist the family internally, co-hosting events with them, and supporting the Next Gens with their social investment and philanthropic projects as well as their peer-to-peer activities.

What motivated you personally to accept this role?
I liked the diversity of the role, and the opportunities it brings to build a strong global network for the family across generations and cultures. My experience working and interacting with families for the last 20 years is valued as a precious resource for the development of ViaTalenta.

How do you define the family behind ViaTalenta today in terms of generations, values, long-term vision?
The family has the particularity to stand evenly between a rich heritage with centuries of history and beloved figures, and a young and bubbly next generation looking towards the future with curiousity. This kind of balance is rare and participates in the family having their values aligned with their long-term vision of sustainability.

How are the family’s core values communicated externally?
I like to say that values shall be lived more than they are told, and it couldn’t be truer here! The family’s core values of exigence, honour and perseverance are brought to life with imagination and creativity. The very fact that they do have a Head of Family Relations underscores how much they value humanity.  It is my pleasure to carry this mindset in the way I communicate with others on behalf of the family.

What is for you the best thing about working at ViaTalenta?
I really appreciate being part of something with such a long-term vision and positive impact. My role also spans through diverse mandates like investments or philanthropy, which is interesting and challenging. Finally, I like that being a global group allows for ViaTalenta’s relations to extend and build bridges between families around Europe and beyond.
