The Investment Committee announced today the approval for Turtle Aquaculture as the flagship investment project for the Energy & Environment portfolio. The investment is estimated at 60-70M CHF over the next five years. Turtle Aquaculture, named “Turtle 2.0”, is a CO2 negative, RAS-based aquaculture plant producing “Happy Fish” free of all antibiotics, metals and pollution. The investment includes AgTech with the development of Artificial Intelligence to monitor the development of the fish in race-lane, high water circulation ponds.
